Sotillion, the Summer Queen, is the Oeridian goddess of summer, the south wind, ease, and comfort. She's the wife of Zilchus, daughter of Procan, sister to Atroa, Telchur, Wenta, and Velnius, and cousin to Merikka.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

The Summer Queen appears as a beautiful, adult woman with red, shoulder length hair, wearing diaphanous clothing, reclining on a blanket with bottle of fine wine in her hand. She's accompanied by a winged, completely orange tiger.

Worshippers[edit | edit source]

Sotillion is mainly worshipped by farmers, alongside her siblings, and by those seeking comfort in their lives. Her clerics, called luxuriates, are often found as diplomats, as they make people so relaxed they forget their quarrels with each other. They can be found often hosting or taking part in casual parties and banquets, partaking in the pleasures of pleasant conversations, good food and beverages, and soft music, and move around in either carriages or litters. Some of them believe that ease and comfort become pointless without struggle and hardship to contrast them, so they adventure for time, seeking riches to afford the comforts they desire.

Dogma[edit | edit source]

When the wind blows from the south and when planting is done, it is time to rest and enjoy the warm weather with good food, pleasant folk, friendly gossip, and content quiet. Hard work and strain are things to be avoided. If your rewards are threatened, defend them with zeal like the great cat defends her young, for life without its comforts is a life not worth living.
