The Cauldron of Blood is one of Khorne's few Daemon Engines from Epic that actually is awesome even if it does look a bit goofy due to its age. This is because it actually looks somewhat reasonable as well as the fact that it mounts a huge cauldron full of bubbling daemonic ichor. The cauldron is used to supply the vehicle's jutting cannon with red-hot daemonic blood which is fired through the cannon's nozzle which is known as the aptly Blood Cannon, showering foes with molten lava. The Cauldron of Blood also features a front-mounted Power Weapon known as a Death Jaw that is capable of cutting foes that get too close to bloody pieces, after which the daemonic machine's massive wheels will crush whatever remains. | The Cauldron of Blood is one of Khorne's few Daemon Engines from Epic that actually is awesome even if it does look a bit goofy due to its age. The cauldron is used to supply the vehicle's jutting cannon with red-hot daemonic blood which is fired through the cannon's nozzle which is known as the aptly named Blood Cannon, showering foes with molten lava. The Cauldron of Blood also features a front-mounted Power Weapon known as a Death Jaw that is capable of cutting foes that get too close to bloody pieces, after which the daemonic machine's massive wheels will crush whatever remains.
Essentially this thing makes a great substitute for the Hellhound as Chaos forces often lack the burny power in contrast to their more loyal brethren. Plus unlike the Hellhound, the Cauldron of Blood's flames as mentioned are burning blood. If there is one vehicle that can personify the Blood God himself, it is the Cauldron of Blood as it is a blood spewing, immolating, choppy, thundering weapon of war covered in skulls.
Shame it has been mothballed by Khorne ever since.
