/g/ - Technology
Gender/Physical Description: Male. In poor physical condition, as he rarely leaves the basement and sleeps erratically (if at all). Has a thin yet somewhat neck-bearded appearance. Has yellowish hair. He wears a white longsleeve work-shirt with brown slacks, also wears glasses. Highly sedentary and living on a diet consisting mostly of snack foods and sodas. However, his inactivity is balanced by his tendency to forget to eat. He's either overweight or underweight, and it seems to change with the season.
Personality/Habits/Hobbies/Behavior etc.: /g/ loves technology, in much the same way that most people love oxygen. He is obscenely (yet comparitively) good with computers, which he uses to fuel his thirst for the latest technological info, as well as earn money via freelance hacking. It is unknown how much money he actually makes.
/g/ loves consumer electronics as he often carries a cell phone and a tablet with him, but often shies away from anything involving true engineering or programming proficiency. /g/ is more apt to tinker with pre-built assemblages (such as ready-to-compile Linux distributions), desktop computer components (which fit together in an obvious fashion) and straightforward customization/ricer tools like Rainmeter. However, all of his projects are intended to improve and upgrade what he works on, and he certainly knows more about computers than most people ever care to. It is suspected that he has vast sums of money stored away, but this could be a front. He is arrogant and reckless, rarely considering the consequences before he does something, at least when it comes to computers. His overconfidence with the machines he tinkers with can lead to some problems, but he always seems to be able to put things back the way they were before he "upgraded" them.
He would have you think that he is obscenely wealthy, but he is probably just the son of an upper middle class family. However, he is too reclusive for anyone in the house to accurately make a guess. He is arrogant, socially awkward, and at times ill-informed about the world; leading to naive and idealistic perspectives. When he does interact with people, he tends to expect everyone to think and act like he does, often leading to hostility and impatience. Despite his reclusive nature, his obsession makes him a perfect fit for the 4chan house, and he knows he is accepted there (because most of the others are pretty much on his level). He will not only perform various favors in return for blank CD's and cases of energy drinks, but maintains the network for the entire building as well.
If /g/ drinks a carefully measured amount, he will reach the Ballmer Peak, and of his own accord delve into a furious storm of typing. He has been known to bang out full programs, entire games, and on one occasion half of an operating system; all from scratch. He will go for as long as he can maintain his Peak or until he passes out. Often, he later cannot decipher what he made, and has a tendency to break it afterward.
He has a multimonitor multi-computer battlestation that has at least a Windows, GNU, and a Mac OS running .
He hates being tech support with common people especially people who are technology impaired and will often say “Install Gentoo” just to get them buzz off.
Few people know that /g/ loves to read dystopian novels and cyberpunk science fiction, especially Niel Stephenson books.
Relationships: His perfect storm of rudimentary technical skills, social awkwardness, and inability to understand typical social norms make him a kindred spirit with /v/, although he may resent the association. He tends to act fanboyish around /k/, because of the sense of authority which guns give him (a sensation he normally doesn't experience) and his secret love of 90's dystopian action heros.
Job: /g/ is a freelance hacker, and it is heavily implied that he has worked with some shady people. He might make quite a bit of money doing this, though he occasionally pays the rent by upgrading the building's wireless router or LAN. He can do odd jobs around the house, and his insistence on having the wireless router in his room makes him the natural first choice for IT support. He has no other "real work world" experience.
/g/ - Guro
Teenaged female. Caucasian, black hair, short. Has obsession with blood and gore, can be deadly. (Died in some sort of blender accident, witnesses say she seemed to enjoy it.)
