One of two chapters involved in the Euxine Incident along with the Inceptors, but unlike the Interceptors knew when to fold 'em when dealing with the Minotaurs. Most recently Exterminatused the planet Carnage a couple years before Cadia blew up... with a Nurgle-sabotaged virus that turned the entire planet into Plague Zombies.

Apparently the Doom Warriors have a defect in the Catalepsean Node as a result of a mutation in their gene-seed. Because of this deficiency, Doom Warriors are incapable of true sleep, which makes them morose and moody.

So... canonical Emperor's Nightmare?
