The Golden Sons are a successor chapter of the Blood Angels, founded sometime in the 38th Millennium. Aside from being one of the many successors who turned up for the showdown with Hive Fleet Leviathan at Baal, they were notable mainly for having a much harsher attitude toward their Death Company Marines, flinging them into battle with no regard for their lives and using them as battering rams to break through enemy lines. They were nearly obliterated during the fighting at Baal; the chapter's entire fleet was lost, along with its Librarius, and their chapter master was killed on the ground, along with most of the Sons, leaving only a few scattered survivors. Got rebuilt with Primaris Marines at cost of losing their identity as warrior-scholars.
