The Patient One, also called The Dark Watcher, is an alien god and patron of aberrations. It is a being much like Ghaunadaur or Tharizdun (there's actually a good chance it actually is Tharizdun; "Patient One" is one of his monikers). It mostly spends its time whispering secrets to itself, until the time comes to feed on the sacrifices offered to it. Beholders and Illithids often act as its clerics.
