Lliendil is the raptoran trickster god of weather and storms.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Lliendil appears as an adult raptoran with black-blue skin, lightning crackling in his eyes, and white banded wings with electric blue feathers. He wears black trousers and a leather jerkin, with no shirt underneath.
Worshippers[edit | edit source]
Lliendil's clerics are charged with propitiating their capricious god, helping repair any damages caused by weather, and with keeping track of the weather and winds, and learning the weather patterns. This knowledge is used to advise the flock chief about coming severe weather, as well as used to teach young raptorans how to ride the winds in storms. Any tasks that require destruction are always assigned to Lliendil's clerics, along with those that involve acquiring items that can manipulate the weather or hide the user's intent. Lliendil's shrines are wooden lean-tos, that are intentionally constructed in places where they would be destroyed by storms, in the hopes that he wouldn't bring foul weather and destroy the shrine on a whim. The rite of Stormcall is annually held in early spring, where the god is begged to unleash a fierce storm to the area to test the flock, cleanse the area, and identify weakened cliff platforms.
