The Dakkajet is the Orks mainstay fighter aircraft specializing in both air-to-air and ground attack missions and is one of the most common and frequently sighted Ork aircraft to the Imperium. The Dakkajet is propelled by a single, massive jet engine and like most Orks, Dakkajet pilots believe firmly in quantity over quality, and commonly bolt as many guns as humanly ORKLY possible to their aircraft which increases the chances that some of those bullets are bound to hit the target given Ork accuracy.
From the outside, Dakkajets share many common features. However like most Ork vehicles, no two Dakkajets are truly the same but rather are subject to the own unique taste of its Mekboy designer. However no matter the design and customizations, all Dakkajets carry thousands of rounds of ammunition (Where all those ammunition are stored is still a mystery DEY'Z STORED IN DA BIG INSIDES YA GIT! WHADDIDU FINK WAZ DERE? ENGINES? NO DAKKA JET NEEDS ENGINES DAT BIG, DEY JUST NEED TO GIT YOU TO A RIGH' PROPAH SPEED! ). Also looks like a MiG-15.
Dakkajets are one of the fastest aircraft in the Orks and as aforementioned, are best use in a swarm tactic, overwhelming the opposing force with dozens of Dakkajets.
Dakkajets are typically armed with an array of two to three twin-linked Supa Shootas, which are capable of laying down a hail of fire, but are highly inaccurate. Other then that, it can also be equipped with a Grot Gunner as well as a big shoota, boom bombs, burna bombs, skorcha rokkits and supa shootas.
Due to their customization, a Dakkajet can be turned into or assembled as a Burna-Bommer, a Blitza-Bommer, or a Wazbom Blastajet if given the time and available amount of Teef, or repurposed into a Megatrakk Scrapjet if a Mek gets his hands on one and decides it looks better on the ground. All in all a Dakkajet is a decent and relatively cheap flyer that can adept and perform many roles if a Bomma is not ready or you just can't afford the points for the amount of crazy that is the Wazbom Blastajet, still don't expect to perform too well against Imperial, Eldar, Tau, or Necron equivalents. Swarm tactics is often a requirement.
