A lot of extra gubbinz and power are required to keep the deff rolla turning. This can make Bonebreakas somewhat prone to breaking down, but most crews are savvy enough to take preventative measures, perhaps dragging a dedicated grot rigger on-board to perform repairs mid-battle. Bonebreaka, not to be confused with the Battlefortress.

Bonebreakas are a type of Heavy Ork tank. Used by all Ork Clans, it is armed with a single heavy Battle Cannon in a turret and a huge spiked Deathrolla on its front hull. The spiked Deathrolla is what gives the Bonebreaka its name.

Overview

The Bonebreaka is similar to the Bonecruncha in that they both share the same chassis which consists of a Rhino. They only differ in terms of main armament. Whereas the Bonrcruncha consists of two twin-linked double barrelled weapons meant for rapid fire and destroying infantry and lighter vehicles, the Bonebreaka is armed with only one massive Battlecannon meant for annihilating enemy armor and tanks.

They along with the Bonecruncha can be considered true Ork Heavy tanks.

Nowadays it has been mothballed by Games Workshop, possibly because it looks too similar to the Battlefortress and its countless flavors or the Battlewagon without the Deathrolla.

Then in 8th Edition...

Oldschool Bonebreaka.

In 8th Edition, they have been given a well deserved shout-out. Bonebreakas are now part of a sub-type of Battlewagon dubbed as Krushas. This family of wagons also includes such similiar and nostalgic assault vehicles as the Bonecrusha, the Spleenrippa and the Gitmasher. The Bonecrusha and Gitmasher are vehicles that are completely new, so there is some hopes that Ork players may get more choices in the superheavy category. The Bonebreaka combines armored transport capabilities with an arsenal of heavy firepower and an enormous spiked deff rolla to create a versatile and enduringly popular Ork assault vehicle.

Others reassure themselves by painting their vehicle with blue glyphs, hanging lucky squig’s feet in the driver’s cabin, or feeding captive grots and snots into the tank’s workings so as to keep their Bonebreaka’s belligerent beast-spirit satisfied.
