Sumpkroc

The Sewer Gator is real. And he's hungry.

The Floridian Sewer Alligator is real in 40k and seemed to have evolved to 40k proportions. Sumpkrocs are a type of reptile on the Hive World of Necromunda.

Overview

Sumpkrocs are large reptiles that have become grotesquely oversized and mutated with four eyes. Extremely aggressive, they are sometimes utilized by Hive Gangs such as House Goliath as giant attack dogs who also bulk them up with a stim pack of their own. However while ferocious they are not especially intelligent, easily being distracted by its own reflection.

There may or may not be a rumor that states that a Sumpkroc might have originated from Terra only for it to evolve into what we see today. Given how tough crocodyliforms are, this wouldn't be too surprising.

Crunch

On Necromunda, this local Floridian resident can protect its owner by counter charging and making an immediate attack action against whoever charged them. This might not seem all that useful as it’s a defensive ability and Goliaths are usually on the attack, but on a shooty leader this could be extremely handy.
