Syphonite

Syphonites are members of Necromunda's Water Guild, who outsiders consider to be the strangest of them all. Yes, even more so than the god damn Big Daddies.
Overview[edit | edit source]
The reason why they are so strange is due to the rumors the Syphonite spread, that the staffs they carry can bleed water from their victims. Granted, rumours are rumours, and the crunch does not indicate the Syphonite's water succing abilities.
When the Water Guild needs to assist their Underhive gang allies, a Master Nautican, will command a Nautican Syphoning Delegation, which includes a Syphonite, and a Subnautican as well. When a battle erupts, however, a Master Nautican will prefer to let the Syphonite and Subnautican handle any of the fighting.
Syphonites wear Imperial Mesh Armour and are armed with a Needle Sniper Rifle, a Stiletto Knife, and a Cult Icon. By far the more shootier member of the group.
Crunch[edit | edit source]
On Necromunda, a Syphonite's stats are lackluster, and their weaponry doesn’t inspire fear. They do have the Dodge skill, though, and that’s what really makes their job obvious: stand in front of the good members of the delegation and absorb some shots. Otherwise, use them as range support for the much more powerful Subnautican. The Syphonite is easily the most expendable member of the delegation, so use multiple of them if possible.
