Lugger

The garage sale of Servitors.

Not to be confused with the Squattier folks of the Hearthkyn Salvager called the Salvager Lugger.

A Lugger is a Necronmundan term given by House Orlock to any mining or heavy industry Servitors they have stolen and then modified for their gangs to use in the Underhive.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Despite the different Servitors the House has access to, Luggers are often heavy tracked units that are able to lift, move and carry bulky cargo, and once in Orlock's hands they are armed with Harpoon Launchers. This can be swapped for either a Heavy Bolter, Heavy Flamer, or Heavy Stubber, and an ammo hopper can also be attached to the Lugger in order to feed ammunition to their weapons.

Despite having fluff and rules, we have yet to receive any models for it...for now...

Crunch[edit | edit source]

On Necromunda, the Lugger is an interesting brute. Instead of being a combat monster, the Lugger provides a stable ranged weapons platform. When purchased it comes with a harpoon launcher but that should be immediately scrapped and replaced with an Unwieldy weapon, as the Lugger can fire an Unwieldy weapon as a Basic action rather than a Double action.

This is a huge boon, as Orlocks lack reliable long-range firepower. Our suggestion is to spring for the good gun if you’re taking one of these things, and pay for that heavy bolter. You need to buy any upgrades for a Brute when initially recruiting it – while it’s expensive, the armor and mono-sight upgrades are also good value.
