Road Captain
Road Captains are a type of ganger within House Orlock and the leaders of an entire Orlock Gang.

While comparatively more normal looking than some of their contemporaries. Road Captains are without exception hard men and women, willing to flip the bird at Imperial authorities and go their own way.
However, Orlock gangers respect independence as much as strength, and a successful Road Captain needs to be the embodiment of both of these traits. Being a Road Captain means earning the respect of their gang through their own deeds. Unlike some gangs and clans of Necromunda, the brotherhoods and sisterhoods of House Orlock are a two-way street; if a leader in the House of Iron wants to have gangers follow them, then they had best be worthy of the right.
Due to both their status and having a decent manufacturing base, Road Captains can be equipped with a Plasma Pistol, Sawn-Off Shotgun, Servo Claw, a Flail, Chainsaw, Power Sword, Power Axe, Power Maul, Bolt Pistol, Grenade Launcher, or a Plasma Gun. Likewise, they carry a plethora of Frag Grenades, Krak Grenades and Smoke Grenades. They also wear some segments of Imperial Mesh Armour (Presumably the shoulder pads, shins, and vambrace) and is allowed to have a pet cyber doggo for protection.

On Necromunda, the Road Captain is a pretty neat boss unit has both fantastic stats and be able to access the entire Orlock armory. This means that you can take your Road Captain in any direction you want just like is says in the fluff, making them one of the most versatile gang bosses in the game. The most typical and common play style is arming the Captain with one good pistol weapon like a Plasma Pistol and one good combat weapon like a Power Sword. This allows you to have a unit that can handle nearly any situation. Nice.
Also, the Road Captain is the only character that gets Savant skills as a primary choice now, so you might want to have your captain be your support and economy character, unless you plan on having the cash for hangers-on. Otherwise, The Captain has access to Ferocity and Leadership to round out their primaries, so you can give yours some helpful defensive skills (Nerves of Steel or True Grit from Ferocity) or support skills (Commanding Presence or Overseer from Leadership).
Just look out for the cost, as the add-ons can quickly rack up the credit debt.
