The first stack of pyromaniac murderhobos.

Redemptionist Brethren are the foot soldiers of Necromunda's Redemption Cult members of House Cawdor.

Overview

The Yin to the Cawdor Brethren's Yang, the Redemptionist Brethrens are far more steeped into the ooga-booga cult shit that House Cawdor furiously masturbates on with their Flamers. They are extremely fanatical and zealous. With some members of the Ecclesiarchy even daring to say, overly enthusiastic in burning heresy to the ground that would make a Sisters of Battle blush.

Best identified by their red and black robes to the typical Cawdor's blue and white, as well as a iron-pointed collar. Redemptionist Brethrens are armed with a Pump-Action Shotgun, Autogun with attached Exterminator, Flamer, Flintlock Pistols, Stub Guns, Muskets, Stub Rifle and a wide range of cheap close-combat weapons like a Sword, Flail, Maul, Knife or a Warhammer. They also carry a bunch of grenades as well ranging from Frags to Kraks.

Within a Redemptionist Gang troupe, there is usually three to four Brethren per troupe.

Crunch

On Necromunda, Redemptionist Brethren have similarly mediocre stats when compared to Cawdor Brethren, but don’t have access to the blunderpoles and don’t get Devout Masses. And they’re 5 credits more expensive. Unfortunately, the only reason to take Redemptionist Brethren is to pad out your Fanatical fighters to become or stay Outlaws. As gangers, they’re honestly fine, but they’re nowhere near the optimal choice.
