Subnauticans are members of Necromunda's Water Guild, and are the god damn Big Daddies from Bioshock transported to 40k.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Wearing Armoured Diving Suits, these suits are normally used to keep the cisterns and reservoirs of Necromunda's Hives functioning, but Subnauticans can take them into battle as well. When the Water Guild needs to assist their Underhive gang allies, a Master Nautican, will command a Nautican Syphoning Delegation, which includes a Subnautican and a Syphonite as well. When a battle erupts, however, a Master Nautican will prefer to let the Subnautican and Syphonite handle any of the fighting.
Whilst they aren't armed with any range weapons, the two Servo Claws they have are powerful enough to go mano-a-mano with other giant bruisers like an Ambot, 'Zerker or a Servitor-Ogryn.
Crunch[edit | edit source]
On Necromunda, these Big Daddy knock-offs have a similar profile to an Ambot or a Slave Ogryn Underboss, and packs quite a punch in combat thanks to their mighty fists and the Berserker skill. The move with this fighter is to plant them in front of the Master Nautican and benefit from their leader’s Overseer skill.
The Subnautican can ignore Blaze, thanks to their Hazard Suit, but they have no access to pinning mitigation, so Overseer is a very important factor in making them worthwhile.
